Mel is a Research Assessor for the Early Intervention Research Group. She is pursuing her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Oregon. She graduated from Northwestern University in 2025 with a Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences & Disorders. When volunteering for children with special needs, she became interested in childhood development, which has encouraged her to pursue this career! In her free time, Mel enjoys reading books, crafting, and trying new recipes.
