Kim Smiley is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where she earned two Master’s degrees in Communication Disorders and Sciences and Behavior Analysis and Therapy. With over 24 years of experience, including more than 19 years in early intervention, Kim has worked with children with various disabilities, such as autism, Down syndrome, and hearing impairments, in schools, hospitals, and in-home settings. As a credentialed Early Intervention Specialist and Evaluator, she is committed to helping children communicate and supporting families as they celebrate their children’s milestones. She wanted to join the RTW because she is excited to contribute to meaningful change to find a new diagnostic system.
