Katie is a master’s student in the Early Intervention Research Group. She is pursuing her Master’s in Speech, Language, and Learning at Northwestern. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2023 with a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience. After graduation, she worked at the Early Intervention Research Group as a research assistant and interventionist for two years before deciding to pursue her master’s in Speech Language Pathology. As a sibling of a brother with autism, Katie has dedicated her life to making the world a better place for her brother and others with development disabilities. She has worked in MSU’s Autism Lab under Dr. Brooke Ingersoll, and in Michigan State’s Research in Autism and Developmental Disabilities Lab. She also has worked under Dr. Richard Solomon with his early intervention the “PLAY Project”. In her free time, she likes to walk, listen to music, and get ice cream.
