Brittany is a Speech-Language Pathologist, educator, and mother. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology from Illinois State University and Masters of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University.
Brittany has over 14 years of experience assessing and treating speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in the school and clinical settings. In addition, she has held special education leadership roles, worked on a collaborative diagnostic team, and instructed a college course on communication disorders as an adjunct professor.
Brittany brings all of these experiences to her practice and participation in the study. She prides herself on delivering the highest quality speech and developmental therapy services to families around Chicago. One of her greatest areas of interest includes improving diagnostic evaluation, language, and literacy skills in young children while addressing disparities in achievement for communities of color.
In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking delicious meals, and traveling to new destinations.
