Amy Levin is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with children with communication challenges. Amy worked as a bilingual preschool and elementary school teacher in Arizona before receiving her clinical training in speech-language pathology from Northwestern University. Amy was a member of the clinical teaching faculty at Northwestern for almost 10 years. Her clinical interests and areas of specialization include early intervention assessment and treatment, family coaching, bilingual language development and intervention, and provision of equitable and responsive services for all children and families. She has worked across a variety of settings, including university teaching clinic, private practice, inpatient pediatric hospital, outpatient pediatric multidisciplinary clinics, Early Head Start centers, and home- and clinic-based early intervention. Amy joined the RTW project to support more early childhood clinicians in helping children and families get diagnostic information they need, when they need it!
