Tara is a licensed speech language pathologist with experience in evidence-based treatment and assessments of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders. While pursuing a Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology at Northwestern and working with Dr. Roberts, she also provides assessment and treatment services at the University of California, San Francisco, STAR Center.  The UCSF Star Center is an interdisciplinary clinic serving individuals with ASD and NDDs across the lifespan. Prior to joining the STAR Center, she worked at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and Boston Children’s Hospital. She was also a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include: investigating best practices in parent-mediated interventions, playdates, and early identification assessments.
