Shara Reimer is currently a freshman at Northwestern and a research assistant in the Early Intervention Research Group. She is planning to major in Neuroscience or Cognitive Science with a possible minor in Human Communication Sciences. Before coming to Northwestern, Shara conducted research on autism through a summer internship at the Yale Child Study Center, and she has worked with children of all ages and abilities through organizations including Friendship Circle and Special Olympics. Shara is excited to be joining the EIRG team and is looking forward to learning more about language development and early intervention. In her free time, Shara loves spending time with friends, exercising, volunteering, and playing with her two dogs, Lola and Ruby.
