Inclusion of Children With Disabilities in Early Childhood Programs

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Education recently issued a joint policy statement aiming to increase inclusion of children with disabilities in early childcare programs. The departments’ vision is to include all children in high-quality early learning environments with appropriate support from the earliest point possible.
