Congratulations to Dr. Roberts for being awarded the Clarence Simon Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in the School of Communication!The Clarence Simon Awards program honors Clarence Simon, who served Northwestern as an outstanding teacher and administrator for many years. It was established via a bequest from Paul and Helen Knight. The goal of the program is to identify and recognize outstanding teachers and mentors within the School of Communication community.

Dr. Roberts was nominated by the department and by students who expressed the significant impact she has had on their lives. Dr. Roberts’ courses are filled with passion, humor, and practical learning, and we are thrilled she is being recognized with this prestigious honor so early in her career.
