Shameka C Brown is a dedicated Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant and Developmental Therapist. With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, she has been working in Early Intervention since 2014. Shameka holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Certification. Passionate about supporting parents and children, she joined the RTW to actively contribute to the search for a new diagnostic system. As a proud wife and mother of three amazing children, including a daughter who is sixteen years old, and two sons aged 12 and 8, Shameka’s personal journey as a parent of a child with Autism has driven her passion even further. Apart from her professional commitments, she actively engages in her community and church, assisting children and young adults in achieving their educational and spiritual goals. In her free time, Shameka enjoys singing, reading the Bible, journaling, listening to Gospel music, and continuously expanding her knowledge in the fields of Early Childhood Education and Mental Health.
