Rachel Levy, BA
Rachel is a research study assistant at the Early Intervention Research Group. Rachel graduated from Colgate University in May 2019 where she majored in behavioral neuroscience and minored in sociology. For her senior thesis, Rachel investigated the effect of hand gestures on memory for emotionally charged language. Rachel’s primary research interests include language development and developmental disabilities. In the past, Rachel has worked as an NSSRA Inclusion Companion and an undergraduate summer research assistant at Northwestern’s Infant Cognition Lab and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Lab. Rachel is excited to be a member of the EIRG team and hopes to pursue a career in speech-language pathology or clinical psychology in the future.
