Joanna Paul, BA
Joanna is a research assistant at the Early Intervention Research Group. She graduated from Wesleyan University in May 2018 where she majored in psychology and sociology. During her time in college, she worked as a research assistant in the Cognitive Development Lab and the Cognitive Reasoning and Decision-Making Lab. Following graduation, she spent a year volunteering for a nonprofit college access program in the Chicagoland area through AmeriCorps. After taking a year off of research, she is excited to return to the field to engage in high-impact work that improves the lives of children and their families. She wants to work with children long-term and hopes to eventually pursue a degree in social work or speech-language pathology. In her free time, you’ll find Joanna running, hiking, and volunteering at a refugee nonprofit and the children’s hospital.
