Jennifer Nietfeld, MA

Jen obtained an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Developmental and Child Psychology, Behavior Analysis, both from University of Kansas. She has worked with children with autism since 1988. Jen studied with Ivar Lovaas at the UCLA Young Autism Project, helped start the KU Early Childhood Autism Project, was the director and founder of SAIL Inc, an early intervention group providing a combination of ABA and NDBI to children with autism, and has worked with Dr. Ann Kaiser at Vanderbilt KidTalk off and on for 30 years. Jen wanted to collaborate with RTW so she could help streamline the ASD diagnostic process. Outside of work, Jen loves to travel and spend time with her family and her big ole’ hoss of a dog, Franklin.  She loves anything to do with being outside, especially to hike, garden, look for fossils, canoe, and camp.
