Ana Correa, DT
Developmental Therapist
Ana is a bilingual Developmental Therapist who has been working in Early Intervention since 2018. She was born and raised in Colombia. Ana is proud of her Hispanic heritage, and is excited that she has the opportunity to help others access services that will help their overall growth. She came to the US after college to explore the many opportunities available to learn about child development. Ana worked in a Spanish Montessori daycare, where she learned about the benefits of child-centered learning. She came to realize that all children are different and child development is fascinating! Ana continued her work with children as a 1st grade teacher in a Dual Language school. She adored her students though soon realized that the struggles they were having would have been less prominent if they had received services when they were younger. So, Ana took the necessary courses needed to get her credential in Early Intervention. Although she loved her time in the classroom, Ana was excited to work with toddlers and their families in Early Intervention. She is passionate about helping families discover their child’s potential and is especially honored to have the opportunity to help the Latino community. Ana loves to share the variety of therapy techniques she has learned over the years in an effort to help families build connections with their children. She is grateful for the opportunity to join the RTW team. Ana loves working with neurodivergent children and those with developmental delays and is excited to make a difference in the lives of our children, our future.
When not working, Ana loves spending time with her two daughters, husband, and family dog. She enjoys learning about new research in child development, making crafts, and finding new therapy ideas on Pinterest.
